Intraoral Camera

Instead of merely listening to our team describe what’s happening inside of your mouth and having to take our word for it, you can see exactly what we see thanks to our intraoral camera. This thin, pen-like device has a tiny camera lens on its tip, and we can maneuver it around your mouth. It captures and displays high-definition images on a chairside screen, allowing you to see your teeth and gums in real time and gain a crystal-clear understanding of your dental health.

Digital X-Rays

So many oral health problems can’t be detected even by our dentists’ highly trained eyes. That’s why we use X-rays to spot cavities, infections, and other issues that are hiding beneath the surface of your smile. To make our X-rays even more efficient and effective, we’ve fully embraced digital X-ray technology. Compared to traditional film, digital X-rays produce clearer images in a fraction of the time. Plus, they emit up to 90% less radiation, making them ideal for our patients with small children!

CT/Cone Beam Scanner

As detailed and accurate as digital X-rays are, they’re not always enough to give us everything we need to know when planning your treatment. For example, if we need to place a dental implant, we must have a clear picture of your unique jawbone structure. That’s where our CT/Cone Beam Scanner comes in. This device generates a three-dimensional model of your mouth, revealing the exact locations of nerves, blood vessels, and other sensitive oral anatomy and making it easier for us to plan complex treatments.

Taking impressions of your bite is often the first step in creating a dental crown, bridge, denture, and many other treatments.
